If you are a “planner person”, like to make lists and keep track of projects, then you are probably familiar with traveler notebooks and bullet journals. In the past few years at Pages In Time, I’ve taught classes on creating your own cover, or travelers notebook, as they are called. Then 3 or more “inserts” are added in the elastic bands which can be switched out as needed.
Perhaps you wanted to take one of those “kraftdori” classes in the past, or are you ready to make another one. Or maybe you are ready to get started in the pen and paper planner world.
I am so excited to announce that there’s a new opportunity to make your own artisan traveler notebook, complete with planner inserts in April. I will be leading a full day workshop at the Holiday Inn Express in Lititz, PA.
Wander & Write Workshop
Saturday April 13: 9am-5pm
We will start by taking some time to think through how you want your
planner to work for you, set goals, etc.
Decorate your own artisan traveler notebook provided in the workshop
using any of the various stamps & stencils that are provided for you to use.
Design your insert with monthly calendars.
Noon: lunch next door at Isaac’s with a $10 coupon included with the workshop.
Create your weekly insert after that.
Make a junk journal and learn how to bind it with a saddle stitch. It can
either be added to your traveler notebook or used separately. Going
forward, you have the knowledge to make these whenever you want!
Before the day is done, you’ll assemble everything and be ready to go
with a plan in place to record your life and all your projects.
